With the new year here, we look forward to making our patients look and feel their best. In 2016 we began offering a variety of new products and services. We plan to continue these and expand their use, while adding even more products and services.
Kybella
Kybella is the first and thus-far only FDA-approved, non-surgical, injectable treatment for the double chin. What people love is that Kybella is permanent and maintenance treatments are not required as they are with most other treatments such as Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, and Voluma. The launch of Kybella was in 2016. This year we are planning to expand the use of Kybella to other areas such as the bra fat.
Volbella
Volbella is a new filler in the Juvederm family released in October 2016. Volbella is designed for subtle enhancement of the lips. Specifically, it works well for vertical lines on or around the lips. Volbella is also used to shape and enhance the borders of the lips. This year we will expand the use of Volbella in the lips by combining it with Juvederm. Juvederm is used to volumize the lips and Volbella is used to perfect the finishing touches. What people love about Volbella is that, like Voluma, it uses Vy-Cross technology which allows patients to enjoy their results for a full year.
Voluma
Voluma is a dermal filler used to restore lost volume in the mid-face. Patients enjoy the results of their Voluma treatment for up to two years with optimal correction. Voluma is designed to be placed in the upper cheek, giving the face a lift without surgery. We are also using Voluma to restore volume in the temples, which occurs in many people over time. Voluma can be combined with other treatments such as Botox, Juvederm, and Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing (see below) for even more rejuvenation of the skin.
Hand Rejuvenation
While the face is the most common area for rejuvenation, other areas are being treated as well. The hands have become an increasingly popular area for rejuvenation. The Hand Rejuvenation treatment is a combination treatment designed to address multiple aspects of aging in the hands in a single treatment. The Forever Young BBL IPL photofacial is used to address sun spots that commonly appear on the backs of the hands. Then a filler such as Voluma is used to restore lost volume, which occurs over time and leads to the appearance of veins and tendons.
Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing

Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing is a new treatment we launched toward the end of 2016 and it will surely be a popular treatment in 2017. Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing uses a laser to create thousands of microscopic holes in the skin while generating heat. This stimulates the body to produce its own natural collagen tightening the skin, leading to a dramatic improvement in wrinkles and sagging skin. Although recovery time can be one to two weeks, the results of a Fractional CO2 Laser Resurfacing treatment are so impressive that it’s worth it.
